With practice you can be as good as anyone. Right now, I suggest practicing drawing. The better you can draw, the better you can animate.

I've always liked drawing, but I never really got into it until about two summers ago. I've saved nearly everything I've drawn since then, and it's a whole big stack of printer paper in my room now. If I had a scanner I'd upload them to DA.
I haven't been able to animate a whole lot lately, but I'd say that I like animating about the same as drawing, since the two go pretty much hand-in-hand.
